Pretty good book, would give it 3 1/2 stars if that was an option. Not as great as the first three, buts falls in line with them and introduces some very interesting new characters that I am excited to follow. Also appears to be laying some serious groundwork for the future of this amazing world he has created. Have to say that I loved Friendly, and am intrigued by Shenkt. Was a bit disappointed in Shivers though, it almost seemed like the author tried too hard to stick the Bloody-Nine in him. Maybe that was the point, what do I know? Joe Abercrombie is awesome, so he can do what he wants. I just miss Logan I guess. I love how all these books are dark, gritty, and brutal, yet have just the right amount of heart and humor sprinkled in. All in all, I'm obsessed with this series, these characters, and this world. Can't wait to get started on the next book set in this world and see where it goes!!
