Let me say that this is by far the best series I have ever read. From the first book, until the final, the characters have truly grown. I started reading the series in Grade 12, and I have waited each time for each of the books to come in stores. I really anticipated this one because it would be the final time we see these characters come to life. I have always loved Noel writing, also read some of her stand alone novels (Big Fan) Noel does it beautifully in her final novel in the Immortal Series, due to the wonderful plot and adventures Ever and Damen has encountered throughout the centuries. Everlasting really wraps things up nicely due to all the journeys Ever has to go through. It blew my expectations (2x) Throughout the entire novel, we also go back to when Ever and Damen really first fell in love, her as Adelina and him as Alerik. I thought this was a major scene because Damen didn't think that their life was before his next reincarnation. It really showed the similar story of the past 5 novels. When they go back to Summerland for Ever to complete her journey, and to help those who never wanted to be immortals because of Roman and of Damen's past mistakes of turning the orphans a long time ago. The ending was AMAZING, Ever and Damen will get what they want in the end, and live happily ever after which gave a lot of peace with Noel's final installment in this series, with their destiny finally at reach they finally get to graduate and even do something they wanted to do since the second novel (wont tell, but I bet whoever read the series knows) By far the best series I have read from beginning to end, beautifully written, I was really happy at the end of the novel, and how it really worked out for these characters, and how we kinda grew with them, in hopes that they belong together/ destined for each other. Cover: Its my favorite cover out of them all, really shows Ever and Damen close to finding out a cure for their problems, that Roman caused in the second book Bluemoon. I love it and knew I had to buy it! The flower is even beautiful:) Last thing, Thanks to Alyson Noel for creating a beautiful series, I cant wait until her next series comes out next year called Soul Seekers!! I really enjoyed this book for so many reasons. It was written by a professor from University of Iowa and his observations as he pursues his "do overs" are pithy and hysterical. I was laughing out loud many many times.

I read this before I read Mrs. Dalloway and now I definitely recommend reading the Woolf book first. It makes much more sense. Also, read this before you see the movie. Please. It is like they say - the book is always better.
