Harika bir kitaptı. İyi seyahat yazmayı seviyorum ve Paris'in kötü bir anısını yazmak gerçekten zor.
Anyone who relishes reading as an end in itself will appreciate this rambunctious romantic mystery about a book resurrected from the dead and the villain who smokes cigarettes rolled in the burnt pages of books he's confiscated. The setting is Franco's post-war Barcelona so it is also rife with the excitement of police corruption and the trials of an alcoholic, homeless ex-Loyalist soldier who the teenage protagonist pulls off the street, dusts off and uncovers as the most hilarious, witty, honest and endearingly pervy literary character in recent publication. I actually read this book while on vacation in Barcelona and it was so lively I actually went searching for houses and shops where it could possibly take place. Truly so visual and alive it's like watching a movie on paper. Compralo! and take a tragically romantic trip to Barthelona.
This one is coming soon and if you recognize the author's name it is because he has helped James Patterson on several other titles including 1st to Die from the women's murder club series. This is his first work on his own and deals with a family that is in the federal witness protection program. The Blue Zone is when someone within this system goes awol. This happens to several that are all connected, can the family survive, and what family secrets have been kept for far too long? Get this one!!
Hard to put down again! The first half to be honest was a straightforward hunting safari (not everyone's cup of tea) before it got down to another firefight this time with Mozambiwue guerrillas. Always fascinating to see Africa in the raw.
