This is a very touching and romantic story of love found and lost. It's a beautiful tale of two people who found each other one warm summer's night, fell in love even though they had only a few days together, and spent the rest of their lives remembering and regretting not taking their chance. This is not a fairytale, but a heart-breaking story of a once in a lifetime love. Don't read unless you make sure you're fully stocked up on tissues first.

This book is what I would call fluff reading. It's not that the book is bad or was poorly written, but it's not a serious book. It is very light-hearted. It was almost so silly that I found myself somewhat embarassed to be so engrossed in it! However, I think the reason I enjoyed it so much was because it allowed me to take a step away from my every day life worries and responsibilities and escape into another world. And that's really what made me fall in love with reading to begin with when I was a young girl -- being able to go somewhere other than where I currently was. The Undomestic Goddess definitely let me go somewhere else. I liked that.
