Who wouldn’t want to read about angels? Smart, funny, protectors, sexy… occasionally they’re BAD GUYS who could turn you into butter with one single look or word… so why wouldn’t read about them? Now we have another history; ‘Unearthly’ takes my breath away when the mystery resolves itself (because I had never been so far away from it). I must say that the last pages were my favorite part. It was difficult for me, at the beginning, to identify with Clara; she’s a child who must wait for her purpose, led by her mother, who is also an angel but stronger than her daughter. I felt that she needed to grow up, that it was the lack of maturity that makes her so unlikeable to me. The love history… Christian? I had always felt him so distant from Clara. This relationship was never meant to be because both of them cannot be themselves in the presence of the other one; they were always so uncomfortable and insincere that I did not enjoy the love story between Christian and Clara (and I do love read about a girl and a boy falling in love). Tucker? I return to the kindergarden when I read about them. I’ll give 3.5 stars to ‘Unearthly’, because the author surprised me at the end of the history, and because this book has a lot of potential. I know that it was her first one, so I hope the second book in the series will not disappoint me. Thanks to NetGalley!!!!!

So. Matched. I started reading Matched twoe months ago, got tired of reading it, and started again. Matched reminds me so much of the Hunger Games. It was like the country of Panem set in a different district (I was thinking District Three, the agricultural district, if I'm not mistaken). Or maybe I'm still hungover the Hunger Games, but whatever. So, basically, in Matched, they live in an era where arranged marriages are common. I guess that's what it's like to be Matched, except, most of the time, ou do fall in love with the person you're Matched with. You could choose to be single. You can't be Matched if you're an Anomaly, or an Aberration. Cassia Reyes is the main character of the story. She's Matched with her friend Xander. One day she opens her microcard with Xanders information, and then another person's face is presented as her Match, right after Xander. Anyway, instead of Xander, she falls in love with this Match, whop is explained to her as a mistake, and then as an experiment. Basically, in the end, they are separated and she sort of decides things need to change. Something like that. I was kinda thinking that Cassia = Katniss, Xander = Peeta and Ky = Gale, but I don't know, you can ignore my analogy, read the book and see for yourself.
