I loved the author's sense of humor...Boylan is a transgendered person who grew up as a male (although this relatively incidental to this book). Boylan's memoir of growing up in a haunted house is funny, thoughtful, and worth a re read. I liked Boylan's writing enough to pick up and read her struggle with identity called "She's Not There: A Life in Two Genders."
